Highlights — what’s new and changed:
New
- A familiar bearded fellow has a special job for you — unlocked after completing either “Setting up a movie set” or “Making room for our new baby.”
- A brand-new, snowbound fixer-upper to purchase and renovate — available once you finish the bearded fellow’s job.
- Snowfall has been added to the Snowy Suburbs environment for a cozier winter atmosphere.
- A dedicated snow-removal tool to clear those flurries and keep your site tidy.
- PC players: a low-disk-space warning now appears for save storage (console platforms already had this notification).
- 170 new themed items have been added to the shop, including:
- Numerous Santa-themed decorations
- 40 fireplace-style items
- 17 fence gates
- 20 sports-themed items for active interiors
- A brand-new car
- 9 new pillows
- 11 new plants
- 20+ additional mid-century modern lamps and plant pots (expanding the Scooby‑Doo DLC collection)
- THE SNOW YEETER — and yes, you convinced us to keep the name. ːbessie_loveː
Changes
- Refined gamepad controls across the board, including better integration of the Snow Editing Tool in Sandbox Mode.
- Multiple controller button fixes and usability improvements for a smoother experience.
- Suburban NPCs now turn on exterior lights at night for a more natural evening ambiance.
- The Moon’s appearance has been adjusted after aesthetic review to look more realistic.
- The save-cleanup utility (triggered on low disk space) now lists more deletable elements so you can reclaim space more easily.
- The available-storage indicator on the mod.io screen now correctly reflects remaining space for mods.
- [UI] When unpacking boxes, the UI now shows how many items remain inside to help you manage furnishing tasks.
- [UI] The new-content indicator dot has been polished to better highlight newly discovered gameplay elements (like jobs).
Fixes
- Resolved scrolling issues in the custom picture view.
