The dark comedy thriller “Help!” has successfully conquered the North American box office. This latest project associated with Sam Raimi (famed for the “Spider-Man” trilogy) raked in a solid $20 million during its opening weekend.
The film follows a woman (played by Rachel McAdams) and her employer (Dylan O’Brien) who are left stranded on a remote island following a harrowing plane crash. The duo is soon forced into a grueling and high-stakes battle for survival.
International markets contributed an additional $8 million, bringing the film’s global cumulative total to $28 million.
