Available since yesterday on PS4 and PS5 (United States, Japan among others), Sackboy: A Big Adventure won’t arrive before November 19 with us. However, Sony Interactive Entertainment offers to discover the launch trailer on its next-gen console, just to recall that unlike LittleBigPlanet, this time it’s a hard-core platform game. As explained design director Ned Waterhouse last September, all Sackboy’s controls have been redesigned, and each stage has its own characteristics.
On PS5, Sackboy: A Big Adventure will indeed run at 60fps, will exploit the haptic feedback of the DualSense, will benefit from the reduced loading times thanks to the SSD, and will rely on the Tempest 3D Audio Tech dear to the console architect, Mark Cerny. Finally, let’s not forget to point out the presence of two special versions: the edition Digital Deluxe priced at € 89.99 (the game, digital artbook, soundtrack, four costumes, four Sackboy emotes, 20 avatars), and the Special Edition (only on PS4) which costs $ 89.99. The latter (announced only in the United States) offers the same content as the digital Deluxe edition, plus a plush bearing the image of Sackboy.
