Sabrina Carpenter Calls Grand Ole Opry Debut with Sheryl Crow “Magical”: “I’m the Biggest Fan Ever”

Sabrina Carpenter added a storied venue to her résumé on October 7, 2025, making her debut at the Grand Ole Opry as part of the institution’s yearlong centennial celebrations. She called the evening “magical” while reflecting on the performance.

Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Sheryl Crow introduced Carpenter that night; Carpenter later posted a photo with Crow and said the introduction was a highlight of the evening. The Opry also posted photos of her appearance to its TikTok, writing that they were delighted to welcome her into the circle.

Carpenter’s presence at the Opry aligns with the gradual country inflection of her sound since her 2024 breakthrough album, Short n’ Sweet. She continued in that vein with her August release, Man’s Best Friend, whose banjo-tinged lead single “Manchild” reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100.

Looking ahead, Carpenter is set to headline Coachella in 2026 — her first time as a headliner at the festival — marking another major milestone in her evolving career.
