Saber Interactive Releases New Gameplay Trailer for Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival

The combat system in the game will be brutal and bloody.

Saber Interactive has released a 4-minute video for Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival. In the footage, the developers showcased combat, weapons, supernatural abilities, and various ways to survive within the Labyrinth they created.

The combat system promises to be brutal and bloody. Players will be able to use a wide variety of weaponry, ranging from powerful melee implements to firearms loaded with explosive rounds. At the same time, attacking alone will not be enough. During encounters, players will have to dodge enemy blows, hunt for ammunition and healing items, set traps, and trade resources for upgrades.

Among the enemies mentioned by the developers are cultists, runners, the unworthy, and other creatures inhabiting hell. Each of them will require caution from the player and the smart use of available resources.

A distinct role in the combat system belongs to the Configuration of Genesis, a mysterious puzzle that grants the protagonist supernatural abilities. With its help, players can hurl various objects at enemies, set them on fire, and unleash other mystical attacks. By defeating opponents, players will harvest their “Suffering,” which allows them to employ even more potent abilities, such as hellish chains that tear enemies apart.

Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival will launch on October 8 for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch 2.
