Ryan Murphy Is Working on a Series About Dracula’s Brides
Ryan Murphy, the creative force behind American Horror Story, has unveiled his latest project, a series titled “Brides of Blood.” Count Dracula himself is slated to be a pivotal character in the narrative.
Production is scheduled to commence this December across European locations. Murphy has dedicated the series to his grandmother, with whom he shared a fondness for vampire-themed entertainment. Set in the 19th century, the show will shift the perspective to Dracula’s three wives, focusing on their desperate struggle for survival.
Details regarding the casting and the official release date have yet to be disclosed. Currently, Murphy is overseeing the rollout of the 13th season of American Horror Story. He has also recently debuted the series Grotesquerie and the fourth installment of his Monster anthology, which centers on the infamous Lizzie Borden.
