‘Rush Hour 4’ to Be Released at Donald Trump’s Request

President Donald Trump has reportedly asked Paramount to greenlight a fourth installment of the action-comedy “Rush Hour,” according to media outlets.

Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker are expected to return to their starring roles. Brett Ratner is set to resume directing duties—he directed the previous entries in the franchise and recently made a documentary about First Lady Melania Trump that premiered on Prime Video.

“Rush Hour 4” will be released jointly by Paramount and Warner Bros. The project has been in development since 2012. No official premiere date has been announced.

The “Rush Hour” trilogy was released between 1998 and 2007 and earned $849.3 million at the global box office. The films followed two mismatched police officers who must track down the kidnapped daughter of a Chinese diplomat.
