Nexus Point News has published the names of actresses reportedly under consideration for the lead in Disney’s remake of the 2010 animated film Tangled.
Sources say auditions have included Sadie Sink (Stranger Things), Mckenna Grace (Five Nights at Freddy’s), Emma Myers (Wednesday) and Isabel May (1923). Disney has not issued a comment on the casting.
Scarlett Johansson was previously announced to be joining the project as the villainous Mother Gothel. Michael Gracey (The Greatest Showman) is set to direct. A release date has not yet been announced.
