The animated anthology Star Wars: Visions returns with a new season that, for the first time, continues established stories while introducing fresh episodes from leading Japanese studios.
A new season of the animated anthology Star Wars: Visions will arrive on Disney+ soon, and the first trailer signals a departure from the series’ usual format by extending the arcs of characters viewers already know. Returning in the new episodes are the Ronin from “The Duel,” F from “The Village Bride,” and La Kaa from “The Ninth Jedi.”
Alongside these continuations, the season will feature six entirely new tales. As is customary, a distinguished voice cast joins the project — the English dub includes Steve Buscemi, Simu Liu, Karen Fukuhara, Stephanie Shu, Anna Sawai, Emma Myers, and George Takei.
Renowned Japanese studios are responsible for individual episodes. The full episode lineup for season three is as follows:
- The Duel: Payback — Kamikaze Douga and ANIMA;
- The Song of Four Wings — Project Studio Q;
- The Ninth Jedi: Child of Hope — Production I.G;
- The Bounty Hunters — WIT Studio;
- Yuko’s Treasure — Kinema Citrus;
- The Lost Ones — Kinema Citrus;
- The Smuggler — TRIGGER;
- The Bird of Paradise — Polygon Pictures;
- BLACK — david production;
Season three of Star Wars: Visions will premiere on Disney+ on October 29, 2025.
