Rockstar and Take-TwoRockstar Lincoln are Looking for a Localization Tester
“`html
As if to continue our conversation about translating the next game, the developers have sparked interest by posting a job listing on their site for a Russian localization tester, which will be hired by Rockstar Lincoln.
The job advertisement mentions that the “rock stars” are in need of a specialist with knowledge in linguistics and video games, ready to sign a 12-month contract. However, working remotely is not an option — one must be on-site in Lincoln, and have a work permit for the United Kingdom (UK).
This might be related to the development of GTA Online. But then it’s not clear why only a year. Could it be that 2024 will see the last major expansions for “Online”? Or it might directly pertain to the release of GTA 6. In that case, Russian will be one of the supported languages.
