Rockstar and Take-Two Reduce LGBT Support

As noted, mentions of inclusivity and diversity have been removed from Take-Two’s annual report. Special awards given to employees from sexual minorities have been simplified. The DEI section in the document has been renamed. Efforts to present at conferences like GGP (Gay Gaming Professionals) may also be reduced.

But why did T2’s policy change? It’s due to the new US president and his administration, who are making significant efforts to stop LGBTQ advocacy. American companies, even the largest ones (Disney, Google, GM, Intel), are taking such steps to avoid issues with Donald Trump and his team.

How will this affect GTA 6? Most likely, it won’t. Of course, this doesn’t mean the game won’t have gay, transgender, etc. characters. Such characters and NPCs have appeared in almost every part of Grand Theft Auto. But the new installment doesn’t seem forcibly filled with “rainbow” themes like many other modern entertainment products.
