Rockstar and Take-Two: Fifty References in Art for Rockstar’s 25th Anniversary Yesterday at 23:51 OPla G480

In December, Rockstar Games celebrated its 25th anniversary. At that time, the developers not only presented gifts to the players, but also held a party for the employees. This week, an illustration drawn specifically for the event was leaked.

Rockstar and Take-Two: Fifty References in Art for Rockstar’s 25th Anniversary Yesterday at 23:51 OPla G480

The longer you look at the art, the more references to various Rockstar games you see. Let’s try to identify them.

GTA 6

It’s probably unnecessary to look for any hints at future releases. After all, the occasion is dedicated to the past quarter of a century (hence the Roman numeral XXV). But the community still found a reason to discuss GTA 6. The car depicted in the bottom right corner closely resembles the Bravado Banshee, but it’s not an exact copy. Perhaps, it’s a next-generation model that will appear in the “sixth” installment. This could also include the flamingo. We already know they will be in the game. However, such birds also exist in GTA: Vice City Stories, though only as decorations near one of the safehouses.

GTA 5

  • A beachgoer with a smartphone.
  • Trevor’s teddy bear.
  • Chop’s collar keychain.
  • Emblems of the Families and Ballas — two gangs of Los Santos.
  • “Merryweather” logo (under the EST. 1998 sign).
  • A Truffade car key.
  • Attack Buzzard.
  • Weapons: brass knuckles, knife, baseball bat, foam bat, armor-piercing pistol, assault rifle, minigun, grenade launcher, Molotov cocktail, grenade, sticky bomb.
  • Five wanted stars.

GTA Online

  • BF Dune FAV.
  • Playing dice and chips, although the former also appear in RDR, and the latter — in GTA: San Andreas.
  • Surveillance camera. Such devices are encountered in many missions and tasks, but this could also be an easter egg related to Manhunt.

GTA 4

  • The Statue of Happiness with a coffee cup.

Red Dead

  • Hats of John Marston and Arthur Morgan (apparently, they forgot about Red Harlow).
  • Two revolvers.
  • Animals: a horse, a bear, a snake, a rat (or is it a mouse? But there are none in R*’s westerns).

Max Payne

  • Painkillers.

L.A. Noire

  • Detective Cole Phelps’ badge.

Beaterator

  • A mixer and a string panel.

Bully

  • Mascot of the Bullworth Academy football team.
  • Skateboard.

Table Tennis

  • A racket.

But that’s not all. There are still several elements left undeciphered, totaling around 50.
