Analysts have calculated mobile game revenues for September 2025 and produced a ranking of the top-earning titles.
The outlet Mobilegamer.biz released its list of the highest-grossing mobile games for September, based on data from the analytics platform Appmagic. The figures reflect only in-app purchase revenue and do not include advertising income, web-store transactions, Apple and Google commissions, or figures from China’s Android market.
Roblox reclaimed the top spot despite an ongoing downturn in its receipts. In September the game generated $122 million — $35 million less than in August — but amid a broad market decline that sum was enough to edge past rivals.
In second place was LastWar, which pulled in just under $118 million. This marks the second consecutive month that the title has seen a drop in revenue while still maintaining a strong chart position.
Main rival Honor of Kings closed September with $115.7 million, a decrease of $57.4 million compared with the previous month.
PUBG Mobile experienced a sharp fall — its revenue nearly halved, slipping from $132.1 million to $76.6 million. That is its weakest showing since December 2024 and caused the title to tumble to eighth place.
Flagship gacha titles Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail regained a bit of ground. Mobilegamer did not provide exact revenue figures for them, and neither has yet returned to the top 20 — which is rounded out by Royal Kingdom, earning $29 million in September.
