Road 96 Developers Tease New Game Featuring John and Fanny

DigixArt and THQ Nordic have released a teaser for a new game about John and Fanny from Road 96, hinting at a tragedy that befell the characters.

Road 96 left room for the story to continue. Studio DigixArt, alongside THQ Nordic, released a teaser hinting at a new game. The short video makes it clear that something bad happened to John and Fanny.

John is driving a car and does not know whether Fanny survived an incident. He feels relief upon hearing her voice, and she is glad to hear him. Alex is not mentioned in the teaser, so the events may follow the ending where Tyrak consolidated his dictatorial regime.

It remains unknown what role Zoe will play in the new story. Following Road 96: Mile 0, the character became more fleshed out and received additional development.
