Concurrent with the chart start of its new album of the same name, Rise Against‘s “Nowhere Generation” becomes the band’s first No. 1 on Billboard‘s Hot Hard Rock Songs tally, crowning the June 19-dated survey by leaping 4-1.
The song reigns with 4.9 million airplay audience impressions and 580,000 U.S. streams in the tracking week of June 4-10, according to MRC Data.
“Nowhere Generation” is Rise Against’s first No. 1 on Hot Hard Rock Songs, which began in 2020. Concurrently, another song from the new LP, “Talking to Ourselves,” debuts at No. 25.
The album’s lead single, “Nowhere Generation” ranks at its highs of No. 4 on Mainstream Rock Airplay and No. 12 on Alternative Airplay, as well as No. 5 on the all-rock-format, audience-based Rock & Alternative Airplay chart.
Nowhere Generation bows at No. 2 on the Hard Rock Albums chart with 15,000 equivalent album units earned in the June 4-10 tracking frame, launching as the group’s fifth top five title, a total that includes three No. 1s.
