Marc Merrill, Co-Founder of Riot Games, has indicated he will “explore” the possibility of reintroducing the popular Arcane cosmetics to Fortnite’s Item Shop.
During a recent Twitch stream, Merrill, who is known on the platform as ‘Tryndamere’, was inquired by a viewer about a potential return of the Arcane cosmetics to Fortnite. Initial disappointment spread among fans when Merrill confirmed that Riot was responsible for the absence of a restock, saying, “That’s on us. We only made them available at Arcane’s initial release.”
This announcement resulted in the live chat of the stream being overwhelmed with questions about the 2021 Fortnite collaboration. In response, Merrill promised, “I will discuss with the team about the possibility of bringing Arcane skins back to Fortnite. I’m unsure what actions can be taken, but I intend to investigate it.”
The ‘Arcane League of Legends’ collection has recently joined the group of cosmetics that have not been available in the Shop for over 1,000 days. The set includes the following items:
- Arcane Jinx Outfit
- Arcane Vi Outfit
- Jinx’s Dream Monkey Back Bling
- Memories of Zaun Back Bling
- Pow Pow Crusher Pickaxe
- Piltover Warden Hammer Pickaxe
- Playground (Instrumental) Music Pack
- Punching Practice Emote
- Katchoo! Loading Screen
- Wreaking Havoc Loading Screen
- Piltover’s Finest Loading Screen
- Jinxed Spray
The Arcane collaboration would not be the first to return after several years; Master Chief, Spider-Man, and even Fortnite’s own Renegade Raider have recently made comebacks.
Stay tuned for updates.
