Riot Games Bans Thousands of Players for Using Cheats in Valorant Mobile

Riot Games has enacted stringent measures: in China more than 110,000 VALORANT Mobile accounts were suspended, underscoring the developer’s commitment to the strict anti‑cheat policies familiar to PC players.

61,370 accounts were banned for using cheats—ranging from aimbots to wallhacks. Riot emphasizes that any form of assistance that compromises fair play is unacceptable.

29,651 accounts were blocked for “Party with Cheater” violations—joining matches with a cheater, even in cases where some users may not have realized a breach occurred. A further 17,177 accounts were penalized for smurfing, which skews matchmaking and disadvantages new players.

3,831 players received bans for using emulators such as BlueStacks, which provide keyboard-and-mouse advantages over native touch controls.

The enforcement followed the game’s release in China and serves as preparation for VALORANT Mobile’s global rollout, anticipated in December 2025 or early 2026.
