Rihanna appears to be embracing the joys of motherhood more than ever as she kicks off the new year. The global icon recently hinted that she and A$AP Rocky might be planning to expand their family once again in 2026, a revelation that comes just months after they welcomed their third child.
The conversation began on Monday, January 12, when Rihanna made a surprise appearance in the comment section of an Instagram video posted by Love Island alumna Montana Rose Brown. Brown, a mother of two, shared a relatable clip questioning whether she should focus on her personal fitness and style in 2026 or dive back into the journey of pregnancy.
“Deciding whether to get hot and sexy or get pregnant in 2026,” Brown captioned her pensive video.
Rihanna quickly chimed in, echoing the sentiment by writing, “Wait! So I’m not crazy then?” Moments later, the Fenty mogul seemed to solidify her stance on wanting a fourth child by adding a definitive, “Bet!”
This playful confirmation comes only four months after Rihanna gave birth to her daughter, Rocki. The “Lift Me Up” singer and A$AP Rocky are already parents to two sons: three-year-old RZA and two-year-old Riot Rose.
During the Gotham Awards in December, Rihanna spoke affectionately to Extra TV about her growing brood. “They’re all getting bigger,” she shared. “I cannot take it. My sons, their faces are changing, their necks are getting longer. They are growing right before my eyes.”
While the nine-time Grammy winner navigates her maternal aspirations for 2026, her dedicated fanbase remains hopeful for a musical comeback. It has been a decade since the release of her 2016 masterpiece, Anti. The album continues to make waves, recently becoming the first project by a Black female solo artist to spend 500 weeks on the Billboard 200 chart. When the milestone was reached, Rihanna took to social media to express her gratitude, writing, “God ain’t forget bout me!”
