Harry Styles has released a music video for “Coming Up Roses” in which he learns dance steps in a class with a group of strangers, including a pregnant waitress, a man in a neck brace and a cowboy dressed in denim.

The video was posted Monday (Oct. 26). It opens with Styles in a ballroom with his mismatched classmates. He warms up with squats, then slowly finds his footing as he awkwardly tries basic steps with different partners. As he improves, the Grammy winner twirls away with a woman in a bridal gown. He then switches to a man in a suit and accidentally spins him into a table.

In the lyrics, Styles sings about spending one night chasing a hangover and talking at length about why it’s safe. He also sings about stumbling over his words while telling the truth, and about being ready to take up a test if someone says the word.

During the song’s orchestral instrumental, Styles and his classmates watch their instructor perform a solo routine with a number of birdlike movements. After class is dismissed, the British pop star stays behind for a moment to eat one of the cookies on the snack table. He then joins the classmates, who have become friends, for a group photo.

“Coming Up Roses” is the fourth track from Styles’ March album Kiss All the Time. Disco, Ocassionally to get a music video. The album debuted atop the Billboard 200. The Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 single “Aperture” also received a video, as did “American Girls” and “Dance No More.”
