A brand new documentary collection about producer Rick Rubin is coming to Showtime. It’s directed by Morgan Neville (Won’t You Be My Neighbor, 20 Feet From Stardom). The collection, which has the working title Shangri-La, is ready to discover “Rubin’s creative process, giving viewers a taste of what it’s like to be produced by the music world’s most singular voice.” A launch date has not but been introduced, however a “work-in-progress” will debut at SXSW in Austin, Texas in March.
