Re:ZERO Season 4 to Be Split into Two Arcs: Key Visual and Episode Count Revealed
The fourth season of “Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World-” is scheduled to run through both the spring and summer anime seasons.
The highly anticipated fourth season of “Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World-” is officially set to premiere on April 8, 2026. The season will comprise 19 episodes and will be divided into two distinct narrative arcs, airing consecutively during the spring and summer broadcasting windows.
The first segment, titled “The Loss Arc,” will debut on April 8 and span 11 episodes. The story will then continue with “The Recapture Arc,” which is slated to begin on August 12 and will feature the final eight episodes of the season.
To mark the announcement, the production team released a striking new key visual and provided a teaser of the ending theme, “Ender Ember,” a collaborative track by MYTH & ROID and TK (from Ling tosite sigure).
The narrative picks up the journey of Subaru Natsuki and his allies following the tumultuous events in the city of Priestella. With Rem still locked in a comatose state due to the authority of the Archbishop of Greed, Subaru remains driven to find a way to awaken her. Their quest leads them across the perilous Auguria Sand Dunes toward the Pleiades Watchtower, where the legendary sage Shaula is said to reside, guarding the world’s most forbidden knowledge.
Studio White Fox returns to helm the animation, ensuring visual consistency with the previous installments. Masahiro Shinohara, who directed the third season, retains his position at the helm, while the original light novel author, Tappei Nagatsuki, remains deeply involved in the scriptwriting process.
