Reports Indicate Control Resonant Involves Sweet Baby Inc Consultants

Activists continue to find reasons for dissatisfaction.

Control Resonant recently launched on PC and consoles. Remedy Entertainment’s new release achieved the highest concurrent player count on Steam among the studio’s projects and received “very positive” player reviews, holding an 87% rating after 4,000 reviews.

However, some individuals have still found cause for complaint. Following the controversy surrounding Sweet Baby Inc, whose employees are known in the gaming community as “agenda specialists,” people have begun scrutinizing game credits much more closely.

Sweet Baby Inc itself was not found in the credits of Remedy Entertainment’s new game, but players noticed a mention of another similar company. GeraltofGoonia reported that specialists from a company named Hit Detection—referred to as “Sweet Baby Inc 2.0″—worked on Control Resonant.

Hit Detection positions itself as a company that “offers various types of reports tailored to your needs and budget.” Specialists help identify problematic elements in games, analyze the market, and forecast Metacritic scores and sales.

Among the company’s most sought-after services are:

• General overview (for games in early stages of development): specialists evaluate “strengths and potential problems of early builds and materials,” as well as identify trends and opportunities through detailed market research.
