Report: GTA 6 Review Copies to Be Replaced by Closed Preview Events

During a recent broadcast of the X do Controle podcast, Brazilian journalist Pedro Henrique Lutti Lippe shared some compelling insights regarding the highly anticipated launch of GTA 6.

According to Lippe, Rockstar Games is reportedly eschewing traditional review practices. To mitigate the risk of premature leaks and story spoilers, the studio allegedly intends to withhold physical media and standard review copies from gaming outlets. Instead, the developer is expected to curate exclusive, multi-day preview events for accredited press members. This strategy mirrors a scaled-down version of the protocol implemented prior to the debut of GTA 5.
