Release Date Revealed for “After Fisher: The Inquisitor” Series
The streaming platform Wink has announced that the third season of the “Fisher” franchise, titled “After Fisher: The Inquisitor,” will premiere on May 28.
The series features a star-studded cast, including Alexander Petrov, Polina Gukhman, and Yulia Snigir. The plot unfolds in a small town in the Altai region, where the body of a prominent official’s daughter is discovered. The murder appears linked to a string of cold cases attributed to the notorious Barnaul serial killer. Local investigator Belova (Snigir) and detective Terekhov (Petrov) are tasked with the investigation, which soon points toward a mysterious “Mowgli-like” young woman (Gukhman) raised in the Siberian taiga.
The entire season was directed by Olga Frenkel (“Totally Gone!”), with a screenplay penned by Tatyana Artseulova (“The Scythe”) and production helmed by Fyodor Bondarchuk. The original “Fisher” series debuted in February 2023, followed by a second season in the spring of 2025. The show has already been renewed for a fourth season.
