HBO has revealed the release plan for the concluding chapters of ‘House of the Dragon’ — the fantasy series based on the work of ‘Game of Thrones’ creator George R.R. Martin. Season three is scheduled for summer 2026, while the fourth season is not expected until 2028.
The saga’s finale is set to culminate in a brutal war between the forces of Rhaenyra and Aegon, a conflict that will involve the last surviving dragons.
HBO has also renewed the ‘Game of Thrones’ prequel ‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’ for a second season; the first season is due to premiere in January 2026.
