Red Dead Redemption 2 Against Dementia
At the Florencia III care center in Madrid, video games are actively used in therapy for people suffering from dementia. Staff members claim that this activity improves patients’ cognitive, physical, and emotional well-being. The elderly have a great time playing RDR 2, Undisputed, racing games, and even immersing in virtual reality. They have all the necessary equipment: a PS5, PS VR2, a steering wheel with pedals, and a special controller called Access.
According to the video, despite the opportunity to fight, drive a car for the first time, and even battle like a knight, the favorite game among Spanish seniors is Red Dead Redemption 2. One group even named the protagonist Arthur Morgan with the simple and familiar name Cowboy Pepe.
