The booted-up woman doing a high-kick with a grappling gun within the image above is among the two newest Operators added to Rainbow Six Siege this week. Ubisoft have rolled out its subsequent main enlargement, Operation Ember Rise – a hefty replace which mixes a reworked Kanal map with some good new chaos-engendering devices and playable adrenaline junkies.
Amaru and Goya are Rainbow’s newest playable characters, a yin and yang of strategic hook-shooting insanity and defensive playstyles. Amaru is a Peruvian Attacker who makes use of her Garra Hook to shoot as much as rooftops or high-up platforms to get a greater vantage level, and makes use of grenades to stun baddies. Goyo is her counterpoint, a Defender who makes use of a Volcán Shield – to not be confused with the Vulcan Shield my autocorrect retains making an attempt to alter it to – to guard from the odd nitro cell or impression grenade.
You can see the brand new and improved Kanal map intimately within the video beneath.
Goyo and Amaru can be found to anybody who has the Year 4 Pass. Those who don’t must wait it out one other week till they’re in a position to buy the Operators. Check out the complete patch notes right here.
