R. Kelly’s former supervisor Henry James Mason surrendered to authorities in Henry County, Georgia in the present day after a warrant was issued for his arrest for allegedly making “terroristic threats and acts” in opposition to the household of Joycelyn Savage, as native Cox affiliate WSB-TV experiences. According to CNN, Mason had been accused of threatening to kill Savage’s father Timothy, who has publicly claimed that his daughter has been brainwashed by R. Kelly and is being held captive in his alleged “cult.” The Blast and CNN report that Mason informed Timothy Savage, “I’m gonna do harm to you and your family, when I see you I’m gonna get you, I’m going to f—ing kill you.”
Joycelyn Savage’s mother and father have given a number of interviews by which they declare their daughter Joycelyn is being manipulated by R. Kelly. They additionally participated within the Lifetime documentary collection “Surviving R. Kelly.”
After the airing of “Surviving R. Kelly,” Chicago State Attorney Kim Foxx held a press convention encouraging any survivors and witnesses with details about Kelly to contact her workplace so as to initiate an investigation. R. Kelly has continued to deny allegations of wrongdoing.
