Quentin Tarantino Reveals Reason for New Film Delay
Quentin Tarantino has finished the screenplay for his tenth feature film, which he has previously said will be the last of his directing career. Even so, he has no plans to start production yet. Speaking on The Graham Norton Show, he said he wants to focus on a stage production first, then spend time with his family and decide what to do next.
“I’ve written a script that I really love. But first I want to do the play and see who I am after that experience. Then I’ll go home, spend time with my family, live a little for myself, and only then figure out what I want next,”
the director explained.
Tarantino is currently preparing for his debut on the London stage with The Popinjay Cavalier, which stars Sacha Baron Cohen. He originally developed the story as a film script but later decided the material was better suited to the theater. The production is set to open in the West End in March 2027.
