PUBG Corp. is thanking gamers for sticking with the game since its launch two years in the past with a free in-game two-year anniversary cap.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds second anniversary is that this weekend, and the developer penned a 2nd anniversary letter which it launched alongside a special message from PUBG Corp. CEO CH Kim, asserting the freebie for PC and console gamers.
The letter mentions the work the studio did final 12 months, following the Fix PUBG campaign, which was in response to the group’s name for the developer to – you guessed it – repair the game.
The campaign came to a close in November, with stability and high quality changing into the brand new focus forward of this 12 months’s new content material.
To declare your free cap on console, merely login between April 9 and May 7. PC gamers can go to the in-game retailer to “purchase” the merchandise between March 27 and April 24.
Last 12 months noticed gamers obtain a free weapon skin to commemorate the game’s first anniversary.
“But just because we’re celebrating how far we’ve come doesn’t mean we’re not aware of what we still need to accomplish,” reads the weblog submit.
“We’re currently deep into planning improvements to our first map, Erangel. The first changes in this process, increasing and improving loot, have already deployed to test servers, where we welcome your feedback.”
Erangel’s elevated loot rolled out in update 27 earlier this week, together with plenty of balances and tweaks to weapons.
