PS5: Sony finally announces new colors for the DualSense, first cosmic trailer

While some independent manufacturers are making their money by customizing PS5 controllers and shells for a fee, Sony finally seems to be on the lookout for a game-changer itself: the Japanese manufacturer has just lifted the veil on two new colors for the DualSense, the already iconic pad packed with technologies from its white monolith. The organization also released a very spatial first trailer, accompanied by concrete details. We watch this together.

Thus, there is a first model of DualSense, the “Midnight Black”, where the normally white part will be covered with a dark gray tint, contrasting with the deep black of the lower part (which was already as such on the original version). Then Sony brought to light the “Cosmic Red” with, similarly, a shade of red on the surface : note that for the two controllers, the color of the PlayStation symbols and directional arrows has been tuned to adapt as best as possible.

Regarding the release, Sony announces it for the month of June, without further clarification. For the price too, we will leave empty-handed even if we imagine that the firm should soon release more information. As a reminder, a basic DualSense costs 70 euros, so the Midnight Black and Cosmic Red models should not be sold below that. CQFD.
