Preparation for Gameplay Demonstration and Age Rating of the New “Mafia” Today at 20:50 OPla G10

Tomorrow, the showcase of Mafia: The Old Country will take place at PAX East 2025. For the first time, they will demonstrate the gameplay and possibly officially announce the release date (which we unofficially already know). You can watch it live.

Over the past two weeks, the developers have posted short videos that are clearly clips from the presentation itself.

Notably, the last video includes a mark from the American rating agency ESRB. It states that the Mafia prequel is intended for audiences aged 17 and older due to depictions of blood, violent scenes, inappropriate content, alcohol use, and strong language. Additionally, it mentions purchasing options with real money. Since the game is classified by its creators as narrative and does not imply a multiplayer mode, it is likely about acquiring various additional perks such as clothing, weapons, or vehicles. Regarding the European market, PEGI has yet to provide a similar content rating for Mafia: TOC.
