The preload date and download size for THQ Nordic and Purple Lamp’s platformer SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide have been revealed.
Database entries on PlayStation indicate the game will occupy a modest 8.263 GB on PS5 (version 01.100.001).
Preloading on PS5 is scheduled for November 16, 2025. Players who placed digital preorders will receive the game with the latest update already applied, though an additional patch could arrive closer to the November 18 launch. Those who buy physical discs will likely need to download any updates separately.
Based on Nickelodeon’s animated series and following the 2023 title SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake, SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide lets players swap between SpongeBob and Patrick as they work to settle a dispute between King Neptune and the Flying Dutchman. The game is due on Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
