Predator: Planet of Death Becomes Franchise’s Highest-Rated Film According to Viewers

The latest entry in the cult series about intergalactic hunters has hit theaters and immediately won over audiences.

The film “Predator: Planet of Death” has opened in cinemas and viewers have embraced it enthusiastically. According to Rotten Tomatoes, the film holds a 95% positive score based on more than 500 reviews, making it the highest-rated entry in the franchise’s history.

Audiences are calling Dan Trachtenberg’s new effort “a breath of fresh air” for the series and even “the best film of the year.” Many praise the director’s inventive perspective and unconventional reimagining of the mythology, saying “Planet of Death” is a true revelation.

“A Predator-centric film is something extraordinary. Dax is a fantastic character and the story is pure gold. A fresh take on the Predator universe — I’m eagerly awaiting what’s next!”

“I was pleasantly surprised. The film finally centers on the Predator itself rather than on people. It’s a fresh, creative take on a familiar world. And don’t let the PG-13 rating fool you: there’s plenty of action and violence.”
Babak S

“Best film of the year. One of the most exhilarating experiences I’ve had in a long time. I can’t wait to see it again.”
Maverick Kannegaard

Critics have been somewhat more restrained. “Planet of Death” currently has an 86% positive rating from professional outlets — the third-highest in the franchise after “Prey” and “Predator: Killer of Killers.”

The premiere of “Predator: Planet of Death” took place on November 7.
