Pop-Punk Action RPG Stupid Never Dies Gets October Launch Date

Mark your calendars: Stupid Never Dies, the vibrant pop-punk action RPG crafted by industry veterans, officially arrives on October 21. This eccentric, supernatural journey promises a wildly entertaining single-player adventure when it launches this autumn.

Initially unveiled at The Game Awards 2025, the game casts players as Davy—an utterly timid and fragile zombie residing at the absolute bottom of the underworld’s food chain. Driven by an impossible romance with Julia, a human college student tragically frozen during a global conflict, Davy embarks on a perilous quest. To resurrect her and restore lost human heritage, he must overthrow KOM, the almighty King of Monsters, and seize his dominion.

Survival requires diving headfirst into procedurally shifting, monster-infested labyrinths within a fast-paced roguelike framework. While Davy starts off pitifully weak, his unique affliction is his greatest asset: by vanquishing foes and consuming their life cores, he can absorb their supernatural abilities. Players can harness the powers of vampires, werewolves, harpies, merfolk, and cyclopes. Furthermore, Davy’s decayed limbs can be upgraded with cutting-edge “Overtech” augmentations, drastically enhancing attributes and unlocking versatile active and passive skill combinations.

Progression is designed to reward momentum. With each subsequent dungeon run, Davy accumulates experience at an accelerated rate, allowing him to scale in power much quicker and conquer increasingly daunting challenges with confidence.
