Polish “Beavers” Get Smarter: Automation is Coming to Timberborn
Timberborn, a standout title in the city-building strategy genre, is rapidly approaching its milestone 1.0 release.
The developers at Polish studio Mechanistry are currently busy implementing a final wave of innovations and system refinements. While the update was originally slated for March 5, the team has shifted the official launch date slightly to March 12, 2026.
The development team recently teased a significant addition for the 1.0 version: advanced automation features designed to alleviate the burden of micromanagement. The game will introduce new structures capable of responding autonomously to environmental changes, such as dynamically adjusting to specific water levels.
A comprehensive log detailing all the improvements arriving with version 1.0 has been published separately. On March 12, Timberborn will officially graduate from Early Access.
