Pokémon Legends: Z-A may have arrived for Switch and Switch 2 in October, but Game Freak is still expanding the game. With the Mega Dimension DLC set to release on December 10, the studio has revealed Mega Lucario Z and pushed a new Mewtwo side quest and Mystery Gift items into the base game.
Starting today, visit Mystery Gift to claim both Mewtwonite X and Mewtwonite Y. Equipping either stone lets Mewtwo evolve into Mega Mewtwo X or Mega Mewtwo Y. After receiving the Mega Stones, a fresh side mission will appear in Lumiose; complete it to trigger an encounter where you can capture Mewtwo and add it to your roster.

Alongside that update, Game Freak released a trailer showcasing Mega Lucario Z — an exclusive addition coming with the Mega Dimension DLC on December 10. Mega Lucario was already a strong contender; Mega Lucario Z promises even more presence on the battlefield, and competitive players will likely be eager to test its capabilities.
