While many were out celebrating, P!nk marked the arrival of the new year from a much quieter setting: a hospital room. On Wednesday night, the 46-year-old pop powerhouse shared a candid selfie on social media, appearing in a hospital gown with a surgical bandage visible on her neck.
Despite the unexpected circumstances, the “Trustfall” singer remained in high spirits. Sporting a radiant smile, she took a moment to reflect on the emotional rollercoaster of 2025 while explaining the medical necessity behind her stay.
Quashing any rumors of cosmetic procedures, P!nk joked on Instagram that she had undergone disc replacement. “Two new shiny discs in my neck,” she revealed, adding the witty observation that “rock ‘n’ roll is a contact sport.” While she spent the holiday in recovery, her family—including husband Carey Hart—celebrated the season on a snowboarding excursion.
“This year was a doozy for all of us, spanning the spectrum from absolutely devastating to mildly annoying,” P!nk shared in a poignant caption. “Amidst it all, there was so much beauty. I’m grateful I got to wake up every day, get out of bed, and focus on what matters: loving my children and helping them chase their dreams.”
The mother of two also touched upon the grief she navigated in 2025, mentioning the pain of saying goodbye to “incredibly important people.” Looking ahead, she pledged to spend the coming year advocating for the personal freedoms and happiness of others.

This surgical recovery follows a string of health challenges the singer faced over the past year. In August, P!nk revealed she had battled a severe E. coli infection during her summer vacation, which she jokingly claimed to have fought off with “friends, daughters, and red wine.”
