Wes Ball continues to gather familiar actors for a journey across Hyrule.

New Zealand actress Lydia Peckham has joined the cast of the live-action The Legend of Zelda film adaptation, according to Deadline.

Her specific role remains undisclosed, but Peckham previously worked with director Wes Ball on Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes as Soona. She has also appeared in Netflix’s Cowboy Bebop and Apple TV+’s Mr. Corman.

This news follows a recent series of cast announcements for the adaptation. Alongside Benjamin Evan Ainsworth and Bo Bragason as Link and Princess Zelda, the film will feature Uli Latukefu, Dichen Lachman, and Yvonne Strahovski. Latukefu plays Ganondorf and Lachman plays Impa, while Strahovski’s role has not been revealed.

Sam Neill also joined the cast prior to his passing. The Legend of Zelda adaptation marked the Jurassic Park star’s final project before his death in July 2026.

The Legend of Zelda is scheduled to premiere on April 30, 2027.
