Pixel Washer sets October 15 Steam Early Access launch

Pixel Washer will enter Steam Early Access on October 15, Acclaim and developer Valadria have announced. Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 versions are planned for 2027. The PC launch begins an Early Access development period, with more content, features and quality-of-life updates to follow before version 1.0.

Players control Pigxel, a pig with a power washer, and clean grime from more than 40 handcrafted pixel-art levels. Money earned from jobs can be spent on stronger washers, vehicles and other equipment as Pigxel works through a dirty town.

The new release-date trailer shows more of the locations players will clean. Valadria, led by Matt Hackett, is developing the game with Acclaim as publisher. The studio plans to use community feedback during Early Access as it expands the game.
