The series, which premiered on Max in January 2025, quickly established itself as a critical success, securing several Emmy Awards including Outstanding Drama Series. Fans are currently gearing up for the premiere of the second season, which is set to debut later this week.
The plot centers on Dr. Michael Collins (Noah Wyle), a seasoned physician practicing at a cutting-edge Pittsburgh hospital. Alongside a team of committed professionals, Collins navigates the systemic failures and daily pressures of the modern healthcare landscape. The series was developed by ER veteran R. Scott Gemmill.
