Set photos from Robert Eggers’s historical horror film “Werewolf” have emerged online. The director’s latest project (Eggers of “Nosferatu”) is slated to hit theaters on December 25, 2026.
The cast features Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Lily-Rose Depp, Willem Dafoe and Ralph Ineson. The story is set in 13th-century England and will include dialogue authentic to the period. According to reports, Taylor-Johnson is expected to portray the titular creature, while Depp will play his wife.
Eggers co-wrote the screenplay alongside Icelandic poet Sjón (known for “The Northman”).
