The team behind the podcast Podcrushed — actor Penn Badgley alongside Nava Kavelin and Sophie Ansari — have expanded into print with Crushmore: Essays on Love, Loss, and Coming-of-Age. To mark the book’s release, the trio will appear on Billboard Book Club for a live, shoppable conversation on Thursday, Oct. 16 at 5 p.m. ET / 2 p.m. PT, where signed copies will also be available for purchase.

Since launching in 2022, Podcrushed has mined the bittersweet awkwardness of adolescence, and Crushmore continues that work in essay form, reflecting on middle‑school milestones and the messy, formative moments that shape who we become. The podcast has featured high-profile guests, including Ariana Grande, the Jonas Brothers, Jenna Ortega, Drew Barrymore and Leighton Meester.

Powered by TalkShopLive, the Billboard Book Club event will be a shoppable livestream: viewers can watch the interview and order copies in real time, including editions autographed by Badgley, Kavelin and Ansari. Billboard Book Club debuted in April with Spice Girls alum Geri Halliwell‑Horner discussing her novel Rosie Frost: Ice on Fire.
