Pineapple Works and solo developer Walaber have released Parking Garage Rally Circuit on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. The retro arcade racer is available as a digital download, with a 15% launch discount.
The game is built around the look, feel and sound of a late-1990s Sega Saturn-style racer. Tracks are set inside multistorey parking garages, and races focus on fast cornering, boost chaining and short arcade-style competition.
Parking Garage Rally Circuit is designed to be easy to start, but it gives players room to improve lap times. The handling system uses Mario Kart-inspired boost mechanics, and progression opens new vehicle classes.
Local multiplayer supports up to four players in split-screen. Players can race on any unlocked track with any unlocked car class, which keeps the setup close to classic couch racing.
The game also includes Endurance mode. In this arcade-style challenge, drivers try to complete as many laps as possible before the timer runs out.
European Tour DLC launched alongside the Switch release. The add-on doubles the number of tracks with eight new parking garage circuits based on European cities, including Paris, Geneva and York.
The DLC also adds more music to the soundtrack. After the expansion is installed, the in-game title screen changes to Parking Garage Rally Circuit DX.
Walaber is the solo label of Tim FitzRandolph, known for JellyCar and Where’s My Water? Pineapple Works handled publishing and Switch release support.
