Oxenfurt Healer: Cosplayer Brings Shani From The Witcher 3 Expansion “Hearts of Stone” to Life

Model Gingeran and photographer VESANIA have released a new set of images inspired by Shani from the “Hearts of Stone” expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. This shoot lets fans see not only the renowned healer, but also Geralt, whose body is overtaken by the spirit of Vitold von Everec.

Photographer Elena Vesania, who in September delighted followers with photos of Sabrina Glevissig from The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, has once again returned to the Witcher universe.

This time she prepared a treat for fans of the “Hearts of Stone” expansion for The Witcher 3. During the session, model Gingeran embodied the character of Shani.

With the help of cosplayers Ilya Afeliy and Dmitry Wers, Gingeran recreated scenes of Shani tending to an injured guardsman and dancing with Geralt, whose body is inhabited by the spirit of Vitold von Everec.

Shani is a member of the Oxenfurt Academy staff — an experienced healer and instructor, a long-time friend and ally, and a former romantic partner of Geralt of Rivia.

The character is defined by a resolute moral code, chiefly demonstrated by her devotion to the medical oath. Shani’s ethics do not discriminate — anyone in need of help should receive it.
