The sci-fi drama “One of Many” has officially emerged as the most successful premiere in the history of the Apple TV+ streaming service, according to a recent announcement from the platform’s executives.
Masterminded by Vince Gilligan (the creator of “Breaking Bad”), the series made its debut in November. The narrative unfolds in a world besieged by a peculiar virus that forces humanity into a state of relentless, forced positivity. Rhea Seehorn stars as Carol Sturka, a novelist who discovers she is among the rare few immune to this epidemic of artificial bliss.
The debut season consists of nine episodes and has garnered overwhelming critical acclaim, currently maintaining a 98% approval rating. Seehorn’s standout performance recently earned her a Golden Globe award. Reflecting its massive popularity, “One of Many” had already been greenlit for a second season prior to its launch.
