While No Straights Roads continues to grow with additional DLC, studio Metronomik announces their second game, Ondeh Ondeh, which featured with a first video teaser and two illustrations. If the information around the game remains fairly discreet for the moment, Wan Hazmer, the co-founder of the Malaysian studio (and formerly of the FF XV core team, as we recall) gave some details on the title of his game. ‘acts neither more nor less than the name of a Malaysian dessert that looks like coconut balls and that he loves to cook with his wife. This choice is in the continuity of what has been undertaken by No Straight Roads, by echoing Malaysian culture to begin with, but also by taking the basis of a game structured around music. If Ondeh Ondeh will be wiser than No Straight Roads in terms of visuals, the title will however be more “bizarre” than their first game. More information will come in the coming weeks.
