OBAKEIDORO 2 launches on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 on August 6
Asymmetric tag game OBAKEIDORO 2 will launch worldwide on August 6, 2026, for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. The game is developed and published by FREE STYLE Inc.
Three-minute matches for up to eight players
Each match lasts three minutes. One or two Monsters hunt teams of three or six Humans, while the Human side tries to avoid capture until time runs out.
Humans can use lanterns to stun a pursuing Monster and rescue teammates from jail. Monsters have their own abilities for tracking players and controlling escape routes.
Online and local play
OBAKEIDORO 2 includes six modes, including Quick Match, private rooms, friend sessions, solo play, local wireless play and four-player split screen. Custom rules allow groups to adjust the format of a match.
On Nintendo Switch 2, GameShare supports local play across two systems. The worldwide release is scheduled for August 6.
