Milly Alcock, known for her breakout role in House of the Dragon, and The Walking Dead veteran Norman Reedus are set to star in a new cinematic venture from legendary Japanese auteur Takashi Miike, the provocative director behind Audition. The plot follows three close friends who embark on a trip to Kyoto, only for their vacation to spiral into a nightmare when a sinister entity takes possession of one of them.
Pop star Charli XCX is slated to lead the ensemble cast.
Principal photography is scheduled to begin this spring in Japan. The project’s official title remains a mystery, and a release date has yet to be announced.
