Noah Centineo, known for his role in Black Adam, is set to appear in the Hollywood adaptation of the anime franchise Gundam.
Sydney Sweeney (Euphoria) had already joined the project. Legendary Pictures is developing the film, and Jim Mickle — who worked on the series Sweet Tooth — will write, direct, and produce.
The Gundam franchise, centered on giant combat robots, originated in Japan in the late 1970s. Its best-known entry is the television anime Mobile Suit Gundam (1979–1980).
Centineo is currently filming a Rambo prequel.
